The Dining Room. The greatest gathering place there is in a home. My family spends more time in this room than any other. I love the idea of making it a more sustainable and functional room in the home, so whomever wants to you it, can, Whether kids do their homework on it or it is set up for a large holiday dinner party. It can be a space to host anything you can imagine. I grew up with Sunday dinners around the table and the setup alone was so magical and inviting to me. My mother had a setup for every occasion. Whether it was graduation, a wedding, Thanksgiving or Christmas. It is a special occasion to have the room setup for the event and invite the sense of celebration.
I invite you to explore your dining room style. It may be just a room with tables and chairs but it invites a whole feeling and vibe into the home that you just cant quit. From the rug under the table to the place-mats you decide to use. It can all tie into a really beautiful space.

This quarantine has got me inside all day daydreaming and I am not one bit mad about it. I love scrolling and finding ideas all over Pinterest for inspiration for any part of the home. Lately, it has been back patios. Back Patios are such a vibe for entertainer. We are getting ready to make big decisions on where and what kind of space we want to live in later this year and taking into account the backyard space is very important for us. Think about the cookouts you could have there!
There are so many components you can incorporate into a backyard space such as fireplaces, stone pavers, garden boxes, string lighting, lanterns, trellis's, pergolas and so much more! I love how personable you can make the space. I hope you gain inspiration from this post as I have. Remember to make it YOUR space and take into account how much space you have. As always, enjoy! Tiles are one of the most versatile home pieces that can be incorporated into bathrooms, kitchen and laundry rooms. I love the look of a put together area and the tile just pops out at you. Whether its a simple hexagon design or a pop of color that gives the space a different feel.
The various shapes and patterns & colors to choose from are so exciting to me and dont have to cost a fortune! I love the idea of using this simple update trick to add some flair to a home rental or permanent residence. This is something I will definitely be using in the future and Im so excited to share some of my favorite styles. Enjoy!! - J.
This white kitchen trend is alllll over my news feed and i'm not mad about it. Dreamy white tones make for a gorgeous and clean kitchen space. White can go a long way and from the looks of these kitchens below that rings true. I love the mixed tones of wood, green, gold, black and more.
The airiness of white kitchens make my heart skip a beat and I hope to incorporate it into my place one day. I believe that rugs and greenery are simple updates you can add to put just the right amount of spice into a space. The rug colors in white kitchens pop a little more, the hardware gleams a little brighter and the space looks cleaner. What other accessories do you love to add to a space to make it pop? Share your insights below! Enjoy!

Maybe it's the countless hours I've spent on Pinterest or the extreme binge watching of 'Fixer Upper' but home design is on my mind.... I live for great before-and-afters, ranch, farmhouse and modern styled homes.
A homestyle that can incorporate all of these trends is painted brick. It is something that has been on trend for a while but I am starting to hop on the fan bandwagon. When done right it can make or break a home. I've included some of my favorite brick painted homes below. I would love to see this trend incorporated everywhere. It's just that dreamy.
The holiday season is in full swing! And although we are in the process of moving in the beginning of 2019 we are still decorating our space here and there.
One way we have incorporated this physical holiday joy is by focusing on our mantle decor. Mantle decoration is something that I absolutely swoon over every holiday season and I love the way it looks in all homes. Everyone has their own unique style and love the way you can incorporate that into your space during the holiday seasons. I usually gravitate towards the signature wood and green tones with white stockings which for me, always convey a homely environment. Flocked trees, Reindeer figurines and long garlands also seem to be all the rage during this holiday season. Here are some of my favorite mantle decorations!

I think color has a lot to do with the mood in your home. I love the idea of good colors for a great mood. I have made the mistake to decorate in all black and whites before and although that may work for others, it didn't work for me. I could tell my mood was changing and the space I was living in wasn't at all inviting. I love the idea of various color schemes within the neutral and vivid color palettes.
Here I am sharing some of my favorite palette styles and the inspiration behind them:
Bright Pops of Color Palettes:
Bright Pops of Color Ideas:
I love the concept of a bright pop of color. Color can make or break a space and all of these inspirational photos are doing it right. The pops of green, red, orange and bright white are all complementary colors to a blank palette and can really lighten up a room. I love the idea of a bold furniture color as in the first photo or even a unexpected color amongst a hidden backsplash. Even a whole wall can be painted to juxtapose a whole room and the accessories can really be an accent piece.
Neutral Colors Palettes:
Neutral Color Ideas:
Neutral colors, I think can do really great in any space to bring life and light. I like the simplicity of great nude tones that can go a long ways accessory-wise. What I love about neutral is the fact that it doesn't need to be solely beige but warm tones too. The palette shown above is a perfect example of what kind of colors neutrals include.
Farmhouse Color Palettes:
Farmhouse Color Ideas:
I love these styles that the farmhouse trend brings. Farmhouse style can easily be defined as something that is old but new. Many of the styles use older recycled material and turn it into new. Even if its and old barn yard door, an old wooden bench, and even the backing of a garage. Everything can be useful when there is a purpose for it. The colors are also very similar to neutral for the tones and it is important to when using these colors to mix and match to keep it minimalistic.
